Noble Now is a monthly informational outreach devoted to reducing organizational exposure to risk by creating safe workplaces.  As you read through this inaugural edition, please keep in mind that all of Noble's business units work in conjunction with each other to provide our clients with "full circle protection."

Every day there are examples noting businesses are not immune to the escalating problems with substance abuse and violence endemic to our society (violence is directly attributable to substance abuse).  The Noble Group provides decades of experience in mitigating this avoidable risk for your organizatio
n through efficiently and effectively managing your drug testing program, providing background checks, post-hire monitoring, active assailant response and situational awareness training, de-escalation training, threat assessment, and critical incident program management.  We sincerely care about the safety of your employees and each month we will highlight articles that validate why our services are essential as well as provide insight (three decades in law enforcement) on ways to protect your employees.

Situational Awareness Takeaways

  • It is not an overstatement to note that guns are accessible in workers' vehicles in parking lots at every business in this country.  Employers should be aware of the potential for any argument to escalate into threats including armed or assaultive violence, and prepare accordingly by limiting access control, and effective communication to all employees.

  • De-escalation is now commonly trained and can greatly enhance the safety of every employee.

  • Watching a Run, Hide, Fight video is inadequate and insufficient preparation.  Situational awareness and active shooter response training save lives.  For in-depth employee training, contact dhanlon@noblemedical.com
